Postponement of the public hearing regarding the Subdivision Permit and Plat for Pronghorn Bluff, 1st Filing, located in Tract 5, Sells Additions, Laramie County, WY.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Steil Surveying Services, on behalf of Thomas M. Johnson of P.O. Box 2077, Cheyenne, WY has submitted an application for a Subdivision Permit and Plat for "Pronghorn Bluffs, 1st Filing", located at 263 US 85, southeasterly of US 85 and Chalk Bluff Road. The application has been submitted for the purpose of subdividing the property to create three single-family residential lots, with the existing residence to remain on proposed Tract 1.

On September 14, 2018 the applicant requested by email to postpone the review and recommendation of this application to the October 25th Planning Commission public hearing, in order to address outside circumstances regarding the 10' Guy Wire Easement (Note 8 on the plat) for existing telecommunications. A copy of the email is attached.

On September 27, 2018 the Laramie County Planning Commission held a public hearing for this application. County staff recommended postponement of this application to the October 25, 2018 public hearing, and the applicant provided testimony. The Planning Commission voted (3-0) to postpone the application to the October 25, 2018 public hearing.

This application was originally scheduled to be heard before the Board on October 16, 2018; due to the postponement of the Planning Commission public hearing, it is being requested that the Board hearing occur on November 20, 2018, after the Planning Commission has made recommendations on the application.

PROPOSED MOTION

I move to postpone the public hearing regarding the Subdivision Permit and Plat for Pronghorn Bluffs, 1st to the November 20, 2018 Board of County Commissioners public hearing.
