New COVID Vaccination Standards & EPs for Deemed ASCs

New standard IC.02.04.02 and new EPs went into effect as of July 2022

All staff who provide care, treatment, or services must be vaccinated regardless of clinical responsibility or patient contact, including contracted staff

Policies and procedures include processes that:

Ensure all staff received COVID-19 vaccination prior to providing any care, treatment, or other services

Track and document staff COVID-19 vaccination, boosters, and exemptions

address precautions for mitigating transmission and spread of COVID-19 for unvaccinated staff, and contingency plans for staff who are not fully vaccinated for COVID-19
