? Been a busy year for the journal - increasing submissions and downloads

? Wiley's data sharing policy: ? A move towards greater transparency within scientific journals ? EJE is now in the category `Expects data sharing' (moved from `encourages data sharing') ? means that authors must complete relevant data sharing statements on the manuscript information.

? Wiley's restructuring of Editorial Support for their journals, ? Michelle Martire was appointed as Assistant Managing Editor ? A new Editorial Assistant, Roshini Linguesvarane

Average citations per paper in a given set of articles

? Unfortunately, the impact factor has fallen this year to 1.050, (from 1.531 in 2019; 1.343 in 2018) and is similar to 2017(1.053).

? At present the reasons are unclear.

Among his international functions are: Executive Board member of the Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE), member of the Platform for Better Oral Health in Europe, and Associate Editor of the European Journal for Dental Education.
