We all have an extra appreciation for doctors, nurses and other medical professionals at the moment. It’s amazing to look at all the problems and diseases medicine has overcome over time and it’s great to think that this is happening right now to come up with ways of fighting Covid 19 with medicine and a possible vaccination. This is a really interesting chapter that is full of information. Read 2 pages each day and complete the colour coded activity.History week 4DownloadScience:?It is possible to do many science experiments at home using common household items. Those of you who can access the following items might like to give this a try. You will need Vinegar, baking soda ( it’s scientific name if bicarbonate of soda), food colouring, containers to mix( glasses, cups or bowls will do. In the experiment they use test tubes but you don’t have to.) and a teaspoon ( they use a pipette which is a small straw type object for squeezing up an amount of liquid). Try doing it as gaeilge as it would be a great way to get some extra Irish in.Some of you have been following Joe Wicks on youtube at 9 o’clock each day and this is a great start to the day.Keep doing exercises like jumping jacks, press ups, sit ups and trying to break your record for the length of time you can plankA new challenge we would like you to try is the wall squat. This is where you sit against the wall with your knees at a right angle from the wall and your feet. When Mr Murray was in 5th class he could do this for 6 minutes.
