Born 22 Dec 1896; died 1982, age 86 of 2506 W Linden after an extended illness. She lived here all of her life. Services held at St Stanislaus Catholic Church, burial in St Joseph Cemetery. Surviving are several nieces and nephews [no names]

FRANCZAK/ FRANTCZAK REGINA - Mrs Stephen Czajkowski

Born 18 Jan 1911; died 24Sept 1980 age 69 of 137 S Sheridan at 7:04 a.m. after a brief illness. Burial in St Joseph Cemetery. On 26 Oct 1932 as Regina Frantczak she married Stephen Czajkowski who survives with two sons: Don of So Bend and Richard Czajkowski of El Paso Texas.

Born 24 Sept 1908; died 6 Jul 1986, age 77 of 619 S Bendix at 8:55 p.m. at their home. He retired from RACO in 1978 and was a former employee of Michiana Regional Airport. Buried at Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum, St Joseph Cemetery. On 16 Feb 1931 in So Bend he married Antonette Gorzkiewicz who survives, with a daughter, Mrs Delores Bankowski of San Diego CA and a son, Richard Frasz of Niles MI

Born 12 Nov 1898 Poland; died 18 Dec 1979, having been ill for 5 years. Burial in Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery. In 1918 she married Alex Minkoff who survives, with two daughters, Mrs. Betty Schneider of Springfield NJ, Elsie Minkoff of SBd; and three sons; Leonard of San Diego, Julius of Kansas City MO and Ted Minkoff of Lafayette IN; two sisters, Mrs Flora Edelson of Brooklyn NY, Mrs Fannie Zoss, and two brothers, Albert Freedman, and Sam Freedman of Woodland Hills CA.

Born 10 Jan 1917 in Cleveland OH; died 3 Nov 1995, age 78 of Indianapolis IN, formerly of So Bend, died at 10:30 p.m. in St Vincent Hospice Hospital, Indianapolis, after an illness. She had

been employed by Ertel Machine Co and PR Mallory Co. Services at St Stanislaus Catholic Church, burial in St Joseph Cemetery. On 14 Feb 1947 in Indianapolis as Justina Yakim she married Edgar Ray Freeland who survives with a stepson, Russell R of Indianapolis, two grandchildren; a great grandchild; two sisters, Mrs Pauline Stankiewicz of SBd and Mrs Josephine Heckman of Ft Myers Fla; and a brother, Rudolph Yakim of Rochester. She was a member of Holy Spirit Church in Indianapolis.

Born 24 Jul 1950, daughter of Joseph and Florence [Van Goeyc] Freitag; died 7 Nov 1944 of 1001 Mayflower Rd at 7:45 p.m. in Memorial Hospital. She had been employed at St Joseph Adult Care Center. Services at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial at Highland Cemetery. Survivors include her companion William Haskin; a daughter Jennifer Greer and a son, Jason Greer; three sisters, Mrs Carol Whetteberry of New Carlisle IN, Mrs Mary Lou Jasinski, Mrs Donna Olszewski; two brothers, Joseph Freitag Jr of Mishawaka and Thomas Freitag, and her maternal grandmother,

Mrs Genevieve Van Goeyc.

FRESHLEY, JANE "BETTY" - w/o William Kenneth Freshley Sr

Born 18 May 1919 in LaPorte IN; died 29 Jan 1995 age 75 of Hendricks St; died at 11:40 p.m. in Memorial Hospital of natural causes. She retired in 1982 from the former Sunshine Clenaers after more than 20 years of service. She lived in the SBd/ Mishawaka area most of her life coming from LaPorte. Services in Forest G Hay Funeral home; crmation to follow. On 12 Jun 1947 in So Bend as Betty Rabbitt, she married William Kennth Freshley Sr. He survives with a stepson, William K Jr of Orange County CA, 5 grandchldren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs Virginia Vohs of Mish-

awaka and Mrs Dorothy Freshley of San Diego CA.

FRICK, CLARA E -Nee Peterson; w/o Melvin C

Born 23 Nov 1918 in Lawton IN; died 24 Apr 1995 age 76 of North Iowa St, died at 12:15 a.m. in her home. She retired in 1982 from Robertson's Dept Store in the Tea Room after 16 years of service. Clara lived in So Bend since 1937. She was a member of LIght of Life Church; burial in Mt Pleasant Cemetery. On 11 May 1941 as Clara Peterson she married Melvin C Frick Sr who survives with 2 daughters, Mrs Leola Zdoniak and Mrs Elizabeth Launer both of SBd, 3 sons; Melvin C Jr and Everett E, both of Carmel IN and Eric G of SBd; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and a brother, Robert G Peterson of Oklahoma City.

Born 19 Jul 1898 Blue Mound, Wisc; lived So Bend 40 yrs coming from Cleveland; died 30 Oct 1980, age 82 after a lengthy illness. A former employee at Bendix Corp. Veteran WW I, US Navy; buried Riverview Mausoleum. On 25 Nov 1932 in Milwaukee WI he married Evelyn Dominski who survives with a daughter, Mrs Donna Morozowski, a son, Dale Walter Froh of Great Falls, Montana and a sister Mildred Froh of Miami Fla.

FROH EVELYN - Nee Dominski; w/o Christian

Born 28 Mar 1907 Milwaukee Wisc, lived in SBd 40 years; died 29 Nov 1981 of 51165 US 33 N; having been ill for 5 months. Services at Christ the King Catholic Church, burial in Riverview Mausoleum. Surviving are her daughter Mrs Donna Morozoewski, ason Dale Walter Froh of Great Falls Montana; five sisters; Mrs Amanda Jones of Cudahy Wisc; Mrs Irene Switalski and Mrs Virginia Zembruski, both of Wisc, Mrs Helen Schrumick of Kewaskum, Wisc and Emile Dominski of Cudahy Wisc.

FROSINA, MRS MARGARET - Nee Buczkowski

Born 31 Oct 1891 New York. South Bend Tribune, 22 Aug 1954. "Woman found dead in home. The body of Mrs Margaret, age 62 of 235 N Sadie, was found on the bed in her apartment at 6 p.m. sat. Police said there was no evidence of violence & attributed death to natural causes. Officers said Mrs Chesterene Palkowski, who lives in a downstairs apartment, told them she had heard no sound from Mrs Frosina's apartment since thurs nite. She had not checked as Mrs Frosina often slept during the day, but finally entered the room saturday when her calls & knocks went unanswered. Police said cards from a playing deck were neatly arranged on the bed & it looked as tho she was playing solitaire., then apparently lay back to rest, & died. Services at St Stanislaus Catholic Church; Survivors are John S and Jacob Buczkowski. {*Note, per mar lic. - mar twice; husband #1] Sullivan.}

FRYDRYCH, SALOMEA [AKA SALLY FRIDRICH] -Mrs Stanley Wozniak

Born 27 Sept 1884 Poland, she came here in 1885 and died 26 Nov 1938 having been ill for five week at 1314 W Grace, her home. Services at St Casimir Catholic Church, burial at St Joseph Cemetery. On 22 Oct 1901 she married Stanley Wozniak who died in 1930. Children: Eligius, Marie,Genevieve, Virginia, Sigmund, Edward, & Benedict Wozniak,

FUJAWA, CLARA M - Nee Michalak - w/o Casimir

Born 2 Aug 1917; died 30 Mar 1985, age 67 of 1121 W Grace at 10:56 p.m. at St Joseph's Medical Center, and was a lifelong area resident. Services at St Casimir's Catholic Church, buried at St Joseph Cemetery. On 12 Oct 1946 she married Casimir S Fujawa who survives along with two sons, David and Paul, both of So Bend, and three brothers, Albert, Harry and Ted Michalak.

Born 4 Jan 1916; died 26 Dec 1995 age 79 of West Sample St, died at 11 a.m. in his home after an illness. He retired in 1982 from Fabricated Steel after 17 yrs, and was a former employee of Edwards Ironworks. Services at St Casimir Catholic Church, burial in St Joseph Cemetery. On 22 Jul 1939 he married Clara V Janicki who died 7 Mar 1992. He is survived by a daughters Mrs Victoria Johnson of McCalla Ala; three sons, Thomas of Windham NH, Charles of So Bend and Robert of Schoolcraft Mich; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs Florence Bronstetter of Edinburg Texas, and two brothers, Casimir and Benedict, both of South Bend

FUJAWA FERDYNAND

Born 1880 Poland; died 1 Nov 1933, age 52 of RR #1 in his home of pneumonia. He came here 29 years ago. Services at St Adalbert's Catholic Church, burial at St Joseph Cemetery. On 9 May 1906 he married Bronislawa Sordyl [aka Sordel] who died in 1961. Their children: Maria, Mrs. Stephanie Badowski, Theodore F, Eugene, Helen, Mrs Mary Rozanski, Eldon, Lottie, Mrs Helen Sciba and Eugene Fujawa.

Born 8 Oct 1913; died 3 Jul 1986 age 72 of 57499 Poppy Rd at 6:50 p.m. at St Joseph Medical Center. Services at St John Baptist Catholic Church, buried at St Joseph Cemetery. He retired in 1976 as co owner of Fujawa Furniture and Appliance Store. On 29 Jun 1931 she married Alvin Fujawa who survives with one sister, Mrs. Genevieve Kalamaja.

Born 16 May 1885 Poland; died 7 Nov 1938 age 53 of Rt #1, New Carlisle IN. He was killed by a car while riding a bike. Services at St Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, buried in St Joseph Cemetery. On 21 Jun 1906 he married Anna Ryback who died in 1945. Children: Stanley B [aka Steven], Bernice and Alfred Fujawa.

Born 1 Oct 1912 in Mishawaka; died 5 Apr 1996 age 83 of Lincoln Way East, Mishawka of natural causes at 6:19 p.m. in St Joseph Community Hospital. She was a member of Fidelis Class of First United Methodist Church; burial in Cahapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola IN.On 6 May 1935 in Mishawaka as Lois Aldrich, she married EdgarL Fulmer who died 7 Dec 1993. She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs Mary Jo Zawadzki of San Diego Ca and Pal L Downing of South Bend , and 2 granddaughters.

FURORE, ROSS A

Born 24 Feb 1926 in Indianapolis and lived in So Bend until moving to Florida 10 years ago; died 17 May 1995, age 69 of Palmetto Fla at 11:15 a.m. in Manatee Memorial Hospital in Brandenton Fla. He retired in 1978 from Uniroyal Plastics Co after 35 years. Services in St Monica's Catholic Church; burial in Fairview Cemetery. On 1 Oct 1977 in Mishawaka he married Ann M Stoner who survives with two stepsons, James Procacino of Osceola and Arthur Procaccino of Mishawaka, & a sister Mrs Betty Dembinski of Mishawaka. He was a veteran of WW II.

Born 22 Feb 1923 in So Bend to William and Dorothy [Sczypski] Niedbalski, who both preceded her in death; died 20 May 1997, age 74 of Mishwaka at 2:10 p.m. in her resident. She lived most of her life in Mishawaka and was a homemaker. Services in Willow Creek United Methodist Church; burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. On 29 Jun 1946 she married Jack K Fuson who died 13 Dec 1996. She is survived by a daughter Mrs Linda Penzenik of Mishawaka, a grandson, Brandon enzenik and 2 great grandchildren Gregory Penzenik II and Betheny Werge; a sister, Mrs

Born 22 Dec 1923; died 11 Jul 1996 age 72 of Scenic Drive at 3:14 a.m. in St Joseph's Medical Center. He retired from the So Bend Fire Dept and also fromWygant Floral Co. Navy veteran of WW II. Services at St Adalbert's Catholic Church; burial in St Joseph Cemetery. On 16 Nov 1946 he married Delphine Radecki who survives with one daughter Sharon Futa and a sister Mrs Rita Carroll. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Futa wo died 25 Jan 1996.

RICHARD L FUTA

Born 17 Mar 1925; died 26 Jan 1996, age 70 of College St, died at 12:47 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital. He retired from the City of So Bend Parks Dept at the Ella M Morris Conservatory after 26 years. He was a Navy Veteran of WW II. Serives at St Joseph Funeral Home; burial in St Joseph Cemetery. On 28 May 1949 he married Theresa H Sikorski whosurvives with 2 daughtrs, Mrs Susan Berger of SBd and Mrs Nancy Coen of Mishawaka, 3 grandchildren; a sister Mrs Rita Carroll of SBd

and a brother John E Futa [obit above].
