|1. SUMMARY of EXPERIENCE |

|Samuel has accumulated over 13 years’ experiences in teaching, research and consultancies in Spatial/Urban/Regional Planning, Land |

|Surveying and GIS/ Geo-information in Kenya, Rwanda and Somali. While currently finalizing a PhD studies in Spatial Planning at Jaramogi|

|Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology, he holds Master’s degree in (Urban and Regional) Planning and Bachelor of Science in|

|Surveying (honours) from the University of Nairobi. He has published a number of papers in a referred journal and presented in a number|

|of papers at international conferences in areas of Devolution and Healthcare Planning; Rural Transport; Environment; and GIS/ |

|Geoinformation. He has served in National Government and Private Practice as Spatial/Urban Planner, Land Surveyor and GIS |

|Analyst/Mapping Expert; in academia as lecturer, researcher and consultant; and in humanitarian work as refugee camp settlement planner |

|and assistant project coordinator- implementing a number of donor funded projects by USAID, SIDA, UNHCR, GTZ (now GIZ), ACT and USA |
