This document lists the most commonly used keyboard shortcuts for TMW Operations.

1 Using the keyboard keys to enter dates and times

Use these shortcuts when the cursor is positioned in most date/time fields.

Note: Most of the shortcuts below will not work if you use the numeric keypad. Unless otherwise indicated, you must use the keys located above the letter keys on the keyboard.

|PLUS SIGN |Increases the displayed date by one day. |

| |Note: You can use the PLUS SIGN key on either the keyboard or numeric keypad for this shortcut. |

|MINUS SIGN |If either the genesis (01/01/50) or apocalypse (12/31/49) date is displayed, pressing this key changes|

| |the date to the current system date. |

| |If any other date is displayed, pressing this key decreases the system date by one day. |

| |Note: You can use the MINUS SIGN key on either the keyboard or numeric keypad for this shortcut. |

|CTRL+= |Displays the current system date and time. |

|CTRL+MINUS SIGN |Displays the current system date and time. |

| |Note: You must use the MINUS SIGN key on the keyboard. If you use the MINUS SIGN key on the keypad, |

| |this shortcut will decrease the hour field by one. |

|CTRL+0 |Displays the current system date (today). |

| |Note: You must use the 0 key on the keyboard; this shortcut will not work if you use the 0 key on the |

| |keypad. |

|CTRL+1 |Displays tomorrow's date (today + 1). |

| |Note: You must use the 1 key on the keyboard; this shortcut will not work if you use the 1 key on the |

| |keypad. |

|CTRL+2 |Displays the day after tomorrow's date (today + 2). |

| |Note: You must use the 0 key on the keyboard; this shortcut will not work if you use the 0 key on the |

| |keypad. |

|CTRL+3 to CTRL+9 |Displays a date x days from today (today + 3, today + 4, etc.). |

| |Note: You must use the 3 through 9 keys on the keyboard; these shortcuts will not work if you use the |

| |3 through 9 keys on the keypad. |

|CTRL+SHIFT+0 |Displays yesterday's date in some date fields. |

| |Note: You must use the 0 key on the keyboard; this shortcut will not work if you use the 0 key on the |

| |keypad. |

|CTRL+SHIFT+1 |Displays the day before yesterday's date (yesterday - 1). |

|CTRL+LEFT ARROW |Within a date/time field, moves the cursor from the time to the year, month, and day. |

|CTRL+RIGHT ARROW |Within a date/time field, moves the cursor from the date to the time. |

2 Using the numeric keypad to enter dates and times

Use these shortcuts when the cursor is positioned in most date/time fields.

Note: Most of the shortcuts below will not work if you use the PLUS SIGN and MINUS SIGN keys on the keyboard. Unless otherwise indicated, you must use the keys on the numeric keypad.

|CTRL+SHIFT+PLUS SIGN |Increases the minute field by one. |

| |Note: You must use the PLUS SIGN key on the keypad; this shortcut will set the displayed time to 00:00 |

|CTRL+SHIFT+MINUS  SIGN |Decreases the minute field by one. |

Accessing scroll windows

Use these shortcuts to find master file records and view orders.

|Shortcut |Function |

|CTRL+B |Opens the Branch Scroll window. |

|CTRL+D |Opens the Driver Scroll window. |

|CTRL+E |Opens the Order Scroll window. |

|CTRL+I |Opens the Carrier Scroll window. |

|CTRL+L |Opens the Trailer Scroll window. |

|CTRL+T |Opens the Tractor Scroll window. |

|CTRL+SHIFT+K |Opens the Truck Stop Scroll window. |

|CTRL+SHIFT+O |Opens the Commodity Scroll window. |

|CTRL+SHIFT+R |Opens the Third Party Scroll window. |

|CTRL+SHIFT+P |Opens the Pay To Scroll window. |

Note: When you are in an application window, you can also access the scroll window by placing the cursor in the record ID field and pressing CTRL+ALT+S.

4 Accessing master file records

Use these shortcuts to open windows for master file records.

|Shortcut |Function |

|CTRL+SHIFT+A |Opens the Passenger Profile tab. |

|CTRL+SHIFT+C |Opens the Company Profile tab. |

|CTRL+SHIFT+D |Opens the Driver Profile tab. |

|CTRL+SHIFT+E |When the Company Profile tab is displayed, opens the Contacts tab, which you can use to add and |

| |change contact information for companies. |

|CTRL+SHIFT+I |Opens the Carrier Profile tab. |

|CTRL+SHIFT+L |Opens the Trailer Profile tab. |

|CTRL+SHIFT+T |Opens the Tractor Profile tab. |

Note: When you add new master file records during a session, drop-down lists for these records are not automatically refreshed. To update these lists, select Tools > Clear Cache > Master Files.

Working with the record currently in view

These shortcuts allow you to perform basic functions for the record you have opened.

|CTRL+P |Opens the Print window. |

|CTRL+S |Saves the changes you have made to the record in view. |
