Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Rita Fernandes

Mrs. Rita wears many hats here at the Eagle's Nest & Pre-K. She teaches Math & Science Enrichment, Sign Language & Spanish, Chapel, and subs in the classrooms when needed.

"I get very excited When I hear the children talk about the stories that they learn in Chapel and tell me that they want to make good choices because they want to please God."

"The children are always excited to come to Math & Science, Spanish & Sign Language, and Chapel. It makes me happy when parents tell me when their children come home talking about what they learned from my class."

Classroom Spotlight:

Ms. Kamron Walter

In September the children in Ms. Kamron's class learned about textures. Ms. Kamron regularly incorporates sensory art activities into her lesson plans for the children. She believes learning becomes more concrete and real this way. You can often find Ms. Kamron's class taking nature walks and talking about the weather, or laughing and learning at Circle Time. Take a look at some of the things the class did in September!
