Timeline : 4th Grade Social Studies Timeline Project

Timeline : 4th Grade Social Studies Timeline Project

This year, we have learned about many important events in our nation's history. Using what you have learned, create an accurate timeline with what you consider to be the most important historical events that you learned about this year. The timeline should include a minimum of 10 historical events and one event should come from each of our units of study (Native Americans, Exploration, Colonial America, American Revolution, New Nation, Westward Expansion, Abolition and Suffrage) All facts and dates must be historically accurate. Every event that you put on your timeline should also include an image that accurately represents the event. Students should be able to speak briefly about the events on their timeline in a knowledgeable manner and without the use of notes. Grades will be awarded using the rubric below. In order to receive credit, students must submit this rubric with their final project.

Due Date: Thursday, May 7, 2015 (Late submissions WILL NOT be accepted!)
