practice makes possibilitiesTM

Early proficiency of basic math and reading skills opens all sorts of possibilities for the future. Kindergarten readiness is only the beginning.

Kumon gives children a head start in developing the fine motor skills that help them prepare for kindergarten. They also develop valuable study habits required in school, like time management and organization. This preparation enables them to enjoy success in school and beyond.

We've all heard the expression, "Practice makes perfect." But at Kumon Learning Centres, we believe practice makes possibilities. Top athletes, musicians, scientists, artists and scholars ? none achieves greatness by accident.

And it's all based on practice.

practice makes confidence

Confidence at an early age helps young learners start school on the right foot.

The Kumon Method empowers children to become self-learners. Each time your little learners tackle and overcome a new challenge, their confidence grows. Kumon puts them on the path to becoming the confident, independent, self-reliant people all parents want their children to be.

Preschoolers learn using Kumon's engaging, colorful worksheets, which introduce them to math and reading.

Math Program

Make the Early Years Count.

Children start out by counting objects and learning the number sequence before learning to write numbers, all at an individualized and comfortable pace. These skills provide a strong foundation for learning basic addition and subtraction.

Reading Program

The World Opens up to Early Readers.

Children start with "look, listen and repeat" exercises using colorful illustrations to connect words to familiar objects, before advancing to phonics and letter writing. Through practice, children develop a foundation of vocabulary, memory and phonemic awareness that will help them begin reading.

PLUS Sharpen Their Pencil Skills

Young learners can have fun while practicing how to properly hold a pencil. Through drawing lines, curves and angles, these worksheets build confidence, concentration and independence.

Did You Know?

At just three years old, a child's brain is about 80% the size of an adult brain and develops at a faster rate than at any other time of life. Kumon's daily practice approach gives little learners the constant exposure and nurturing surroundings they need to promote optimal brain development. And this is why, at Kumon, we believe practice makes possibilities.
