TYPES OF SENTENCES
Declarative – a statement that tells something. “Declare” a statement. Ends in a period.
Interrogative – asks a question. (To interrogate means to ask.) Ends in a question mark.

Imperative – a sentence that gives a command – ends with a period or exclamation point
