2008 – now Convener of " Graduate and Teaching Assistant" Committee in the Department of Civil Engineering.

• Gold Medal from the British Invention Show(BIS) in 2009 for the invention (Evaporation Reductions using Palm Fronds), London, UK.

• Silver Medal from International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva , April 2010 for the invention (Effectiveness of Reduction of Evaporation using Palm Fronds),Geneva, Switzerland.

• Silver Medal from Ibtikar Exhibition 2010 of Inventtions,Jeddah Saudi Arabia,for the invention (Palm Fronds used to reduce Evaporation),King Abdulaziz &his Comp. Foundation.
