My Dearest Kathy,

Personalized Scriptural Love Letters

My Dearest Shannon,

There will be more joy in Heaven over you when you repent than over ninety nine just who do not need to repent...the angels of God shall rejoice! (Luke 15:7,10)

Yours Forever,

Jesus

My Dearest Shannon,

Rejoice that your name is written in Heaven! (Luke 10:20)

All My Love,

Jesus

Shannon, Shannon, you are anxious and busy about many things, but only one thing is needed. Sit at My feet and listen to My Word. (Luke 10:39, 41)

I say to you, Shannon, ask, and it shall be given to you;

seek and you shall find;

knock, and it shall be opened to you.

For everyone who asks, receives;

and he who seeks finds;

and to him who knocks it shall be opened.

The Father will give you the Holy Spirit when you ask Him

(Luke 11:9-10,13)

My Dearest Shannon,

Do not be overcome by evil,

but overcome evil with good

(Romans 12:120)

Love,

Jesus

My Dearest Shannon,

No one lights a lamp and puts it in hiding or under a bushel basket,

but upon a lamp-stand, that those who come in may see the light.

The lamp of the body is the eye.

If your eye, Shannon, is undivided, your whole body will be full of light.

But if it is evil, your body will be full of darkness.

Take care, therefore, Shannon, that the light that is in you is not darkness.

If, then, your whole body is full of light, having no part in darkness,

it will be all be bright, as when a lamp shines in you. (Luke 11:33-36)

I remain your Light,

Jesus

My Dear Shannon,

Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

There is nothing concealed that will not be revealed,

nothing hidden that will not be made known.

For what you have said in the darkness, Shannon, will be said in the light;

and what you have whispered in the inner chambers

will be preached from the housetops. (Luke 12:1-3)

I remain your Word,

Jesus

I say to you, Shannon, My friend,

do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that can do no more.

But I will show you whom to fear:

Be afraid of him who, after he has killed, has power to cast into hell.

Yes, I say to you, be afraid of him.

Are not five sparrows sold for two small coins?

And yet not one of them is forgotten before God.

Yes, the very hairs of your head are numbered, Shannon.

Therefore, do not be afraid.

Shannon, you are of more value than many sparrows. (Luke 12:4-7)

Your admirer,

Jesus

My Dearest Shannon,

Do not be anxious for your life, what you shall eat; nor for your body, what you shall wear.

Your life is a greater thing than your food, and your body than your clothes.

Consider the ravens:

they neither sow nor reap,

they have neither storeroom nor barn;

yet God feeds them.

Of how much more value are you, Shannon, than they!

And tell Me--can you add a single inch to your height by worrying about it?

Therefore, if you cannot do even this very little thing,

why are you anxious about everything else?

Consider how the lilies grow;

they neither work nor spin, yet I say to you, not even Solomon in all his glory

was clothed like one of these flowers.

But if God so clothes the grass which flourishes in the field today

and is thrown into the furnace tomorrow,

how much more will He clothe you, Shannon, O you of little faith!

Do not seek what you shall eat, or what you shall drink;

and do not exalt yourself (for after all these things the nations of the world seek).

Your Father knows that you need these things.

But seek the Kingdom of God,

and all these things will be given to you besides. (Luke 12:22-31)

Your provider,

Jesus

My Dearest Shannon,

Do not be afraid, for it has pleased your Father to give you the Kingdom.

Sell what you have and give to the poor.

Make for yourself purses that do not grow old,

a treasure unfailing in Heaven,

where neither thief draws near nor moth destroys.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be too.

Your King,

Jesus

My dear Shannon, beloved daughter (I John 3:1),

I delight in you! (Isaiah 63:4) I have called you by name: you are Mine (Isaiah 43:1).

You are precious in My eyes, and I love you (Isaiah 43:4).

Arise, My beloved, My beautiful one, and come! O My dove in the clefts of the rock, in the secret recesses of the cliff, let Me see you, let Me hear your voice, for your voice is sweet, and you are lovely (Song of Songs 2:10, 14).

Your loving Father,

God

My Dearest Shannon,

Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you (Jeremiah 1:5). I know when you sit and when you stand. I am familiar with all your ways. I understand your thoughts--before ever a word is on your tongue, I know the whole of it. I rest My hand upon you (Psalm 139: 2, 4, 5). When you call to Me, when you pray to Me, I will listen to you. When you look for Me, you will find Me. Yes, when you seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me with you (Jeremiah 29:12-13).

Your loving Father,

God

My Dearest Shannon,

Look to Me that you may be radiant with joy, and your face not blush with shame. Taste and see how good I Am (Psalm 34:6, 9). Rejoice in the shadow of My wings (Psalm 63:7). Rejoice in Me always! (Philippians 4:4) Rejoicing in Me must be your strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and when I Am your strength, you have strength for everything (Philippians 4:13).

Your loving Father,

God

My Dearest Shannon,

I know well the plans I have in mind for you, plans for your welfare, not for woe! plans to give you a future full of hope (Jeremiah 29:11). When you pass through the water, I will be with you; in the rivers you shall not drown. When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned; the flames shall not consume you (Isaiah 43:2-3). No matter where you go, I Am there. My hand will always guide you; My right hand hold you fast (Psalm 139:7-10). My angel encamps around about you to deliver you (Psalm 34:8).

Your loving Father,

God

My Dearest Shannon,

Dismiss all anxiety from your mind and present your needs to Me in every form of prayer and in petitions full of gratitude. Set your mind on all that is true, all that deserves respect, all that is honest, pure, admirable, decent, virtuous and worthy of praise. Live by what I’ve taught you. Then My own peace, which is beyond all understanding, will stand guard over your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-8).

Your loving Father,

God

My Dearest Shannon,

If I Am for you, who can be against you? Be certain that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor powers, neither height nor depth nor any other creature can separate you from My love, which comes to you through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:31, 38-39), My beloved Son (Matthew3:17).

Your loving Father,

God

My Dearest Shannon,

It is good for you to give thanks to Me, to sing praise to My Name; to proclaim My kindness at dawn, and My truth in the watches of the night. I give you delight in what I do. My works are great; deep are My thoughts (Psalm 92:2,3,5). Commit your way to Me. Trust in Me and I will act. I will make justice dawn for you like the light; bright as the noonday shall be your vindication (Psalm 37:5-6). To you I give the wild-ox’s strength. You will flourish like a palm tree planted in My house, still full of sap, still green (Psalm 92:11, 13).

Your loving Father,

God

My Dearest Shannon,

Trust in Me with all your heart-

do not depend on your own understanding!

In all your ways, be mindful of Me

and I will direct your paths.

(Proverbs 3:5-6)

From behind you a voice shall sound in your ears

"This is the way; walk in it"

when you would turn to the right or the left.

(Isaiah 30:21)

Your loving Father,

God

My Dearest Shannon,

In this world, you will have trouble

but take courage:

I have overcome the world (John 16:33)

Your conqueror,

Jesus

My Dearest Shannon,

In My eyes, one day is as a thousand years,

and a thousand years are as a day.

I do not delay in keeping My promise-

though some consider it "delay".

Rather I show you generous patience,

since I want none to perish but all to come to repentance

(2 Peter 8-9)

Your Friend,

Jesus

My Dearest Shannon.

Cast all your cares on Me,

for I care for you!

(I Peter 5:7)

Your loving Father,

God

My Dearest Shannon,

Your opponent the devil is prowling like a roaring lion

looking for someone to devour.

Resist him, solid in your faith.

Your loving Father,

God

My Dearest Shannon,

Do not return evil for evil or insult for insult.

Return a blessing instead.

This you have been called to do,

that you may receive a blessing as your inheritance.

(I Peter 3:9)

Your loving Father,

God

My Dearest Shannon,

Who indeed can harm you if you are deeply committed to doing what is right?

Even if you should suffer for justice' sake, happy will you be.

If it is My will that you suffer,

it is better to do so for good deeds than for evil ones

(I Peter 3:13-14, 17)

Your loving Father,

God

My Dearest Shannon,

There is cause for rejoicing here!

You may for a time have to endure the distress of many trials,

but this is so that your faith,

which is more precious than the passing splendor of fire-tried gold,

may by its genuineness lead to praise, glory and honor when I appear.

(I Peter 1:6-7)

Behold, I Am coming soon! (Revelation 22:7)

Love,

Jesus

My Dearest Shannon,

My grace is enough for you,

for it is in weakness that power reaches perfection

(2 Corinthians 12:9)

Your loving Father,

God

My Dearest Shannon,

You are truly My handiwork,

created in Christ Jesus

to lead the life of good deeds

that I prepared for you in advance. (Ephesians 2:10)

Your loving Father,

God

My Dearest Shannon,

You are a stranger and alien no longer.

No, you are a fellow citizen of the saints

and a member of My household.

(Ephesians 2:19)

Your loving Father,

God

My Dearest Shannon,

Imitate Me, as My beloved daughter.

Follow the way of love, even as I loved you.

I gave myself for you as an offering to God,

a gift of pleasing fragrance.

(Ephesians 5:1-2)

Forever yours,

Jesus

My Dearest Shannon,

There was a time when you lived in darkness,

but now you are light in Me.

Well, then, live as a daughter of light!

Light produces every kind of goodness and justice and truth.

(Ephesians 5:8-9)

Your loving Father,

God

My Dearest Shannon,

Draw your strength from Me and My mighty power.

Put on My armor

so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil.

Your battle is not against flesh and blood

but against the principalities and powers,

the rulers of this world of darkness,

the evil spirits in regions above.

You must put on My armor if you are to resist in the evil day;

do all that your duty requires, and hold your ground.

(Ephesians 6:10-13)

Your Mighty Warrior,

God

My Dearest Shannon,

Stand fast, with the truth as a belt around your waist,

justice as your breastplate,

and zeal to spread the Gospel of peace as your footgear.

In all circumstances hold faith up before you as your shield;

it will help you extinguish the fiery darts of the evil one.

Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, My Word.

At every opportunity, pray in the Spirit,

using prayers and petitions of every sort. (Ephesians 6:14-18)

Your Mighty Warrior,

God

My Dearest Shannon,

I will bring to completion the good work I have begun in you,

right up to the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6)

Your loving Father,

God
