Session Descriptions*Branch Specific Training – (Part A) Geared towards the novice (2-3 years) or new guider,. Training is designed to empower Guiders by giving them the basic skills for leading a Unit. The goal of the training is for participants to leave with an understanding of how to work with girls and other women in their Unit in facilitating program.2. * Spark Program 3. * Brownie Program 4. * Guide Program 5. * Pathfinders 6. * Rangers 7. * Adult Learning – (Part A) – Throughout day you will learn about the adult learner, conducting needs assessments, designing, delivering and facilitating trainings and information about the Team modules8. * Commissioner – Getting Started –Part A For new commissioners. Although the modules are designed for DCs, the material presented will be applicable to Area Commissioners as well.9. * Commissioner – More Depth Part A For more experienced commissioners. Although the modules are designed for DCs, the material presented will be applicable to Area Commissioners as well.10. * Time Management - Make the most of your time. Beliefs & Values - Fun activities to help you and your girls explore the ideals of Guiding.43. *Safe Guide Part A – Safe Guide is mandatory for all new Guiders. It is an overview of GGC’s policies with an understanding of the importance of the Safe Guide document and its related policies and procedures.49. * Introduction to Adult Learning (Part C)50. * Commissioner – Getting Started – (Part C) - For new commissioners. We also hope to give you the skills you will need to effectively manage conflict whenever and wherever it arises.63.
