Jenny Lake Boating, Inc Canoe & Kayak Boat Rental Agreement 2017

This agreement outlines the terms between Jenny Lake Boating, Inc. (JLB) and the undersigned for the purpose of renting a boat to be used on Jenny Lake in Grand Teton National Park. The boat, lifejackets and oars are the property of Jenny Lake Boating and are to be used on Jenny Lake with the following stipulations:

? The maximum number of persons per boat is two (2) for kayaks and three (3) adults for canoes. Only individuals 5 years of age and older are allowed in the boats.

? Renter assumes total risk for all damage(s) or injury to self, passengers and all others while boat is in renter's possession. This includes damage/injury caused by acts of nature or lack of common sense.

? Renter assumes total responsibility for loss or damage to the rental unit as a whole. Additional charges will be added to the rental charge in the event of any damage to the boat or loss of paddles or oars.

? Renter assumes total responsibility for any and all personal items taken on the boat. (This includes all electronic equipment, such as cameras, cell phones, GPS, etc.) Upon request by the renter JLB will provide a complimentary dry bag for such items.

? By signature below, renter acknowledges training in vessel operation and safety procedures. Renter acknowledges receipt of information on the navigational limitations and hazards on Jenny Lake. Renter acknowledges that lifejackets are provided for each individual and will be worn and fully fastened at all times while in the boat. (A $10 fine per person will be assessed if Renter is on the Lake without the lifejacket)

? The boat will be rented at the East Dock and returned to the East Dock. ? The boat will be returned no later than 6:30 pm when closing hour is 7 pm. ? Boats rented after 5:30 pm will be pre-paid before departure. ? The boat rental fee is $20.00 per hour or $75.00 per day There will be a $50.00 fee for late

returns after 6:30 pm. ? The boat is to be used on Jenny Lake for recreational use only. ? Renters are prohibited vessel use while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. ? JLB reserves the right to refuse rentals at times of inclement weather and to individuals at

JLB's discretion.
