To provide a professional atmosphere in keeping with the mission of John A. Dubiski Career High School, the following standard dress policy shall be in effect for all students enrolled in or attending classes at DCHS. Student Identification Cards are a part of the Dubiski Dress Code and must be worn at all times.
WHAT TO WEAR

TOPS
Ladies' shirts must be blouse-style, collared, or
Flannel, Denim, Camouflage
sweaters
Oversized or baggy clothing or off-the-shoulder
Mens' shirts must have a collar and be tucked in
styles
Sweaters, vests, ties, and business jackets
See-through clothing
Sweaters ? pullover, turtleneck, or cardigan-style Spandex, vinyl, or stretch-type material
All shirts must have sleeves Logos on shirts must be no larger than a student ID
card
Tank tops as outerwear Tight, low, or midriff-baring clothing T-shirts ? crew or v-neck, short- or long-sleeved
Solid-colored undershirts may be worn under an
acceptable DCHS shirt.
PANTS ? DRESSES - SKIRTS
Dockers or similar style pants and slacks
Corduroy, Denim, Camouflage, Flannel
Pants must be worn at the waist with a belt
Coveralls or overalls/Suspenders
All pants must have appropriate fit and be hemmed Jeans and jean-style pants
or cuffed
Leggings or yoga-style pants
Skirts and dresses must be at an appropriate
Pants tucked into socks, shoes, boots
length.
Oversized or baggy clothing
Dresses must have capped, short, three-quarter, or Tight or low-cut clothing
longer sleeves.
Pants with tears or holes
Shorts, Skorts, Cargo Pants, Sweatpants, Joggers
(pants with elastic at the top or bottom)
Spandex, vinyl, or stretch-type material
Strapless or sleeveless dresses
OUTERWEAR ? BACKPACKS/BAGS
All outerwear must fit appropriately and be worn Hats or head coverings
with an acceptable dress shirt
Athletic Sweat tops or bottoms
Letter jackets and solid colored jackets of similar
weight and style may be worn in the building
Padded laptop sleeve inside a laptop backpack
Hooded garments including sweatshirts may be
worn but logo must be no larger than the student
ID card.
SHOES ? SOCKS ? BELTS - ACCESSORIES
Loafer-style shoes, dress shoes, dress boots
Chains that attach to wallets or clothing
Tennis shoes must be black, white, gray, or brown Extreme hairstyles and/or unnatural hair color
Sandals and heels that are business appropriate
Flip-flops, athletic-style slides, Crocs, slippers,
Leather or canvas-style belts with a buckle no larger
heelies, Uggs-style boots.

The campus administrator may designate spirit days and will determine what can be worn on those days. The administrator reserves the right to establish rules during the school year regarding new fashion in dress.
