Good evening Lakewood Cougar Families: We are well into our second week of school and it seems like the kinks are all getting worked out. Our staff has been working hard on making connections for students and building relationships. This has also given us time to figure out all the technology challenges. We will begin academics on Monday September 21st. Just a reminder that our teachers will be reaching out to families on a regular basis so we can form a strong partnership between the school and home! These phone calls will include academics, as well as, checking in to see if there are any barriers to their student’s learning. You should be hearing from your student’s 2nd period teacher sometime over the next two weeks. Yearbook information: To purchase a yearbook in person, you may go into your Family Access or you may bring a check or cash to LHS between the hours of 7:30 am and 3:00 pm Monday-Friday. To purchase a yearbook online, pay through Skyward Fee Management. Fee payment instructions are located on the LHS website under “school news” on the home page. Yearbook has a new email address: LHSyearbook@lwsd.wednet.edu. Please send us any stories or pictures from your remote schooling experience that you would like us to include in the yearbook!Yearbook has a new web page:?. This page will be updated as new information is available.Starting Monday, September 21st, LHS office hours will be 7:30 am – 3:00 pm.
