Update from the school Nurse Please email Nurse Crawford at crawfordr@anderson1.k12.sc.us

The South Carolina Boards of Medical Examiners, Nursing and Pharmacy approved and adopted the recommendation that school nurses may administer over the counter medications with parental consent and without physician consent.  Therefore, if your child requires over the counter medication at school, please either visit the school webpage or contact the school nurse to request a copy of the appropriate form.  This form must be completed before the school nurse will be able to administer any over the counter medication.  Please be reminded that all over the counter medication must be in its original container and be labeled with the child’s name.

Yearbook Information

Please be on the lookout for yearbook order forms which will be mailed directly to your home from Jostens.  This is a change from years past when order forms were given out at school.  You can use this form to order by phone or online directly from the company, but you may also send in your order and payment to the school.  We hope this new feature will be an added convenience for you, so watch your mail for the Jostens order form, which should arrive within the week.

Getting Ready to Honor our Veterans! Please email Coach Scroggs at scroggsw@anderson1.k12.sc.us

It is that time of year again as we prepare to honor our Veterans!  This is always an exciting time in our school!  We need your help to get you and your homeroom students to bring in a picture of relatives that have served in the military, past and present.  These pictures are for the powerpoint that Coach Scroggs will put together to be shown during our program.  They may begin to bring in pictures to him beginning this week and continue until Thursday, October 31.  They can take them to him during lunch between 11:20-12:25 each day.

We appreciate your help with this!

Update from Coach Scroggs: Please email Coach Scroggs at scroggsw@anderson1.k12.sc.us
