Instructions MS Office 2007

Overview: Bingo is one of the best board games for use in the classroom. Yet, it takes so long to create 20 or 30 unique bingo cards. This template saves all that time allowing you to type in one card, and then it will create the rest.

Directions:

1. Open bingo file of your choice, 3x3 board, 4x4 board, etc. The larger the board the more words, phrases, or answers you can put in and as a result the longer it will take for someone to reach bingo.

2. You will receive a message across the upper middle of the screen that “Security Warning Macros in this workbook are disabled.” Click the Options button. Then click “enable this content.”

3. Choose One or Two Cards to a Page from lower left. Each Board has a “1 To Page” or “2 To Page” option in the lower left. The “1 To Page” template will only print one card on a page, while the “2 To Page” will print two cards on a page. Note – The “1 To Page” option has larger boxes which allows for bigger text if necessary.

4. Type in the words, phrases, or numbers you wish to use for bingo. Be sure to fill all cells with words, including those at the bottom below the board. ONLY FILL IN THE LEFT BOARD, NOT THE RIGHT. Be sure to fill in the two rows at the bottom of the first card.

5. You may need to adjust the font or the formatting of the cells to make larger words fit.

6. Click the shuffle button once. You can now print out a bingo card.

7. Click shuffle button again, the words will scramble, and you can now print your next bingo card.

8. Continue step 6 & 7 until you have enough bingo cards for your class.
