AASA, the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association, is proud to present our 2017 Top Suppliers in the Automotive Aftermarket. This year, we are introducing a new addition to this listing: Emerging Technologies Providers List.

This value-added feature recognizes that suppliers today are at the cutting-edge of automotive technology. The aftermarket is a high-tech industry and suppliers are the driving force of this new technology. AASA suppliers also are a vital part of the motor vehicle supplier industry, which represents the largest sector of manufacturing jobs in U.S. Suppliers create 871,000 direct jobs and generate total employment impact of 4.26 million jobs.

We are pleased to include the Supplier Techline Directory again this year, a one-stop, pull-out section for use by countermen, service providers and technicians. The AASA Emerging Technology Providers List

AASA is introducing a new feature to the 2017 Top Aftermarket Suppliers List, re~ ecting the emergence of new, advanced technology providers in the automotive aftermarket. AASA's analysis and surveys of its supplier members indicate that new technology will disrupt "business as usual" in the aftermarket and will open new opportunities for both established companies and newcomers in the aftermarket space. These emerging technologies are broadly de?ned to include in-vehicle capabilities, data analytics and connected capabilities -- the products and services associated with gathering and communicating diagnostic and prognostic data from a vehicle.

Below is the inaugural list of Emerging Technology Providers. It is intended as an introduction of this valuable feature, not a complete list of all companies, and AASA will continue to grow and expand this list in future issues of its Top Aftermarket Suppliers List.
