Home Laundry AssignmentTo: 7th Grade FACS Parents and StudentsFrom: Mrs. BrowerSubject: Laundry Care UnitWe have been learning about laundry and clothing care. To practice the skills the students have learned, they will be asked to launder three loads of clothes as well as any other laundry you would like to include for this Home Laundry Assignment. For the laundry done, students are expected to round it up, sort it, pretreat stains if necessary, wash it, dry it, fold it and put it away. Students should iron their clothes as needed. However, as parents, your discretion takes precedence.Students gain pride and self worth when they are responsible for taking good care of themselves and their belongings. They learn to make wiser clothing choices after taking full responsibility of maintaining their wardrobe. Doing laundry is a life skill.Students and Parents will use the evaluation chart below to track progress. Using the key provided, students should complete the chart and have parents initial it upon completion. Discuss how your family sorts laundry. There are many ways.
