ADDENDUM #1 23-019 VEHICLE FLEET LEASING PROGRAM

The attention of bidders is called to the following changes, clarifications and/or additions/deletions to the original bid document and they shall be taken into account in preparing the proposal and shall be part of the contract.

CLARIFICATIONS & CORRECTIONS

1. As to the insurance section, are you insuring the vehicle while the vehicle is in your care, custody and control?

A. Correct, the County is responsible for maintaining liability coverage of all leased vehicles while they are in our custody or being used by the County. Vendors shall reference to Section VI. Special Conditions: Insurance and Liability.

2. Will the vehicles require any up fitting (Lights, decals tool boxes etc.)? A. There are no up fitting needed.

3. Please provide the complete VINs for the 12 vehicles listed in the RFP. A. Reference to below table for VINs of all vehicles as listed in the RFP.

4. In order to compare apples to apples and to put all respondents on equal footing, does the County wish to specify a depreciation rate or residual percentage for the vehicle lease terms?

A. The County would like to utilize the Vendor's expertise and knowledge within the scope and or context of the services and programs sought for best offer recommend for the County. As specified, The Vendors shall demonstrate to the County their capability to obtain multiple offers and methods for the delivery of best resale value of used County's leased vehicles.

5. In order to compare apples to apples and to put all respondents on equal footing, does the County wish to specify a sample mileage for the maintenance program?

A. The County would like to utilize the Vendor's expertise and knowledge within the scope and or context of the services. As the County deems necessary it may request maintenance services to be included on select leased vehicles. This is an as-needed service. Please reference to bid Statement of Work.

6. The County states invoices will be paid monthly. If we invoice on the 10th when should we expect payment?

A. There is nothing specific in our Financial Policies regarding payment terms. Departments pay invoices for each accounts per payable cycle, which are every two weeks. Please reference to proposal terms and conditions.

7. Section C.02.1, the County is asking for information about owners. Is there a specific form we need to complete for this purpose?

A. There is no specific or standard form to fill out. Please reference attached Contractor Disclosure Sample letter as provided with RFP documents.

Proposals due date is July 31, 2019 at 3 p.m., please confirm receipt of Addendum #1 and respond accordingly.
