CACTTC Members and Staff:

San Mateo County is pleased to host the Education & Legislation Conference, October 12-15, 2010.

The conference will be held at the Doubletree Hotel, 835 Airport Blvd., Burlingame, near the San Francisco Airport. Room rates are $129 single/double, $139 triple & $149 quad, plus local fees and taxes of 11.5%. Rooms have been reserved October 12h to the 15th. Rates will be offered, based on availability, 3 days before and 3 days after these dates should anyone be interested in arriving the weekend before or remaining the weekend after the conference. PLEASE NOTE: Parking is $5.00 per day – overnight or local attendee rate.

The Doubletree offers 24-hour airport shuttle service which runs to and from the airport approximately every 20 minutes. The shuttle also connects with BART and Caltrain should you wish to visit downtown San Francisco. The Burlingame Driving Range is located adjacent to the Doubletree and the walking trail, which runs along the bay, is across the street.

Room reservations can be made by calling (650) 344-5500. Please book early as certain days sold out quickly last year. Be sure to reference CACTTC to ensure you receive the conference rate which is effective until September 16, 2010.

Shari Schapmire really did an excellent job heading up the Education Conference Committee, along with Sandra Kacharos, Jackie Denney, Wayne Hammar and Tamie Frasier. They have worked long and hard to create a program which should prove to be both interesting and informative.

To register for the conference, please complete a registration form for each attendee online at . You may pay with credit card online, or if you prefer to pay by check, you must mail it separately to CACTTC, 1415 “L” Street, Ste. 200, Sacramento, CA 95814, payable to CACTTC Conference. Be sure to register no later than Friday, September 10th. A late fee of $50 will be imposed for all registrations received after September 10th. A late fee of $100 will be imposed for all registrations received after October 1st. Cancellation refunds will not be accommodated after September 24th, 2010. Staff members are most welcome to attend. Please be reminded that only TTC’s, staff and Associates that have paid their 2010-11 membership dues are entitled to the “member” conference rate. Associates and guests are welcome to attend social functions only, by paying the appropriate fee. Associates are asked to sign the MOU form found on the website. This form should be submitted at the conference registration desk. Extra MOU forms will be available.
