GOOD, BAD AND AVERAGE

Ex-urbanisation is when people go and live on farms but they keep going to work in the city. They might go to work every day on the train or they might just use the net to talk to their boss. Seems like a bit of a waste of time to me to spend all that time on the train, but anyway.

Exurbanisation is the process where people move from city areas to rural or semi-rural areas on the outskirts of the city, while still maintaining an urban lifestyle. Residents could commute the long distance between home and work daily, or may work mostly from home. Technologies such as the internet, video conferencing and mobile phones enable people to do a considerable amount of their business from home. Suburbs affected by this urban dynamic are Londonderry, Dural and Galston.
