Join a team of engineers to explore and learn robotics using LEGO WEDO technology. Imagine and build unique animated creations that respond to the environment using sensors, motors, programming blocks and LEGOs. *WeDo Robotics: Amazing Mechanisms is a prerequisite for WeDo Robotics themed labs (e.g. Star Wars, Harry Potter).Robotics: Tomb Explorers (4th-6th)The setting is an archaeological dig in an ancient Egyptian pyramid. Does the pyramid hold the secrets of the Pharaoh? Explore tunnels and chambers, recover archaeological treasures, use remote imaging technology, and hopefully discover the treasure-filled tomb. Ideaventions provides informal STEM education to children K-8 using small-group lab and workshop experiences. We offer our programs at schools and through our Science Center. The Ideaventions Science Center is located in Oakton, Virginia (directions) and provides over 2000 square feet of space and 4 laboratories. The bright, colorful, and spacious environment is the perfect place to let imagination, invention, and innovation come alive.Ideaventions partners with local elementary and middle schools to offer after school enrichment programs featuring Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) curriculum. Ideaventions offers our science and technology labs at public and private schools.
