Once you selected a person or concept that has been approved by Mr. Accardi, you need to write a 3 page paper discussing the bullet points listed below.

You must include at least 5 facts about the person or concept, and the following questions must be answered:

2) What was going on in the world at this time?

3) Why is this person or concept important to the world of math?

4) Explain how this person improved the academic landscape of the time.

5) Identify interesting characteristics of the person/concept.

This paper should be 3-4 pages in length, single spaced, Times New Roman Font, size 12.

--You also need to create a PowerPoint presentation with 6-8 slides, using pictures (videos optional) and text. You need to highlight the main points of your paper using graphics and multi media to enhance the presentation. You do not need to add new information in the PowerPoint, just talk about the main points of your paper. This also would be a good place to add in “fun facts” about the person or concept. Have fun with this component.
