Latitude:

Imaginary lines that measure distances north and

south of the equator

Longitude:

Imaginary lines that measure distances east and

west of the prime meridian

Prime Meridian:

An imaginary line that divides the earth from the

North Pole to the South Pole

Equator:

An imaginary line that divides the earth into 2

hemispheres, the northern and southern

hemisphere.
