A Note from the Director

D"

ames At Sea" is just a feel-good, easy-going, fun-filled show. The plot

is simple, and deals with 3 kinds of relationships: 1) falling in love;

2) reconnecting; and 3) discovering an "old flame".

It is the kind of show where you can sit back, forget your everyday woes, and just be entertained.

So set your anchor down, and enjoy!

--Bill Starr, Direcctor

MUSICIAN SPOTLIGHT

We chose Judy Diamond to be our featured musician for this show. Her first production with WVLO was "The Sound Of Music" in 2011 and she's been in our pit for several other shows that require violins; her most recent were "The Boy Friend" and "Irene" last season. She has also played for SBMT, SCP, Lyric Theatre, Palo Alto Philharmonic and the Mission Chamber Orchestra. Her husband of 29 years is Corey Welch and they have a son, Aaron, who is a Senior at UC Berkeley. Her hobbies are growing succulents, doing crafts and reading. Judy loves the horror genre and her favorite TV show is "The Walking Dead". She also loves everything giraffe and her collection is threatening to take over her house!! We always look forward to having Judy in our orchestra!
