You do not need to make new teams for the second week of games. However, if needed, reassign students due to an absence or other circumstances. You will get a new set of scoresheets for week two in your color coded folder in your mailbox. Please be sure to collect all scoresheets at the end of Roundup and place in Tony Palmeri’s mailbox. You will find the video links with directions and examples for each game on the Mustang Roundup Weebly site.LESSON PLAN:WATCH MEGATHON VIDEO- PLEASE make sure that you choose the link to the part of the competition (either part one or part two) that your Roundup students will be participating in this week. There is a complete list of which Roundup groups are completing part one or part two for each week. You will only preview the 5 events your students will be participating in this week.MAKING YOUR TEAMS- Take a few minutes to arrange your Roundup students into five teams. Each team should have 4 or 5 students and must be co-ed. *Please note that your students are not separating into teams to compete against one another. It is organized this way because of space and time. Have teams sit together with their group for the score sheet preparation step.SCORE SHEET PREPARATION- Distribute a score sheet to each team and number your teams 1-5. Have the teams complete the section at the top of the sheet. This includes your name, their team number from your class, and ALL team members’ names. Have the team review the descriptions for the 5 events they will be trying to complete tomorrow. There is no specific order for how they complete the events. Encourage students to use their time wisely in order to make it to each event in their assigned part for the day (either part one or part two). Any events they do not complete will receive a “DNF” (did not finish). ................
