MASTER HEALER STARR FUENTES RECEIVES COVR BOOK AWARD

Hot Springs, Arkansas—June 28, 2008. During INATS (International New Age Trade Show) in Denver, Colorado, Starr Fuentes received accolades from her peers for her first book. COVR (the Coalition of Visionary Resources) presented Fuentes with the award for Best Book in Health/Alternative Healing of 2008. Fuentes book, Healing with Energy: The Definitive Guide to Hands-On Techniques From a Master, was published by New Page Books of New Jersey in January 2008 ($14.99, ISBN-13 978-1-56414-969-5). Four finalists in this category were chosen from deluge of submissions the judges received. Fuentes was in good company. The latest title from Julie Cameron, the well-respected author of The Artist’s Way, was also a finalist; however, it was a delighted Fuentes took home the award. She said, “Not only have I received a gift from God, I have received a gift from my peers.”

After decades of study with shamans, healers, Curanderos, masters healers and barefoot doctors, Fuentes has dedicated her life to helping others with the full unfolding of their purposes, paths and destinies.
