inter-INDUSTRY PROVIDES $1.1 MILLION IN SUPPORT TO SCHOOLS AND STUDENTS THROUGH Collision repair Education Foundation IN 2010
HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL – February 4, 2011 – The Collision Repair Education Foundation would like to thank the inter-industry for providing $1.1 million in support to collision schools, instructors, and students in 2010. Through monetary and in-kind product donations, the 2010 Collision Repair Education Foundation donors helped to provide student scholarships, student tool grants, school equipment and supply grants, the 2nd annual Ultimate Collision Education Makeover school grant, and much more. An additional note of success for 2010 is that the number of Industry Leadership Circle donors to the Collision Repair Education Foundation nearly doubled in 2011 compared to 2010. The future for secondary and post-secondary collision students is brighter through the industry’s active support and donations to the Collision Repair Education Foundation.
“On behalf of collision repair students, instructors, and schools nationwide, thank you to everyone, businesses and individuals, who gave to the Collision Repair Education Foundation,” said Scott Kruger, Collision Repair Education Foundation Executive Director. “We are excited not only by the continuing support in education by the entire collision industry, but also by the number of first-time and returning donors to the Foundation. Collision repair businesses are beginning to feel the benefits of investing in the education of the young men and women who will soon take their place and make their own mark in our industry.”
“The Collision Repair Education Foundation experienced its most monetarily satisfying and event gratifying year ever in 2010,” said Doug Webb, Chairman of the Collision Repair Education Foundation Board of Trustees. “I want to thank the Staff for all of their efforts during 2010, all the Trustees, and of course, all the donors for their support during the year. It is a privilege to serve as Chairman and I look forward to the excitement and challenge of 2011.”
The companies, collision repair businesses, individuals, and local committees and advisory boards listed below have contributed time and resources to the Collision Repair Education Foundation. The Education Foundation would like to thank these companies, individuals and committees for their past and ongoing support.
