Notice to ResidentsTown of Lincoln, Kewaunee CountyNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING ORDINANCE UPDATEWednesday, January 9, 2019 at 8:00 PMThe Town of Lincoln Plan Commission will hold a public hearing on the proposed update to Chapter 10: Zoning Ordinance found within the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Lincoln. The public hearing will be held as part of the Town of Lincoln Plan Commission meeting on January 9, 2019 at 8:00 P.M. at the Lincoln Town Hall, at N8497 County Road C, Casco, WI 54205. The Town of Lincoln Plan Commission may take action following the public hearing, recommending adoption of the proposed update to Chapter 10: Zoning Ordinance of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Lincoln.An open house informational meeting will precede the abovementioned public hearing from 7:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Lincoln Town Hall. The open house is an additional opportunity for town residents and other interested individuals to review and ask questions about the proposed zoning ordinance update.Members of the Board of Supervisors may be present and participate in the discussions.Chapter 10: Zoning Ordinance of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Lincoln contains two distinct but inseparable and integrated parts: written text and a zoning map. The written text and zoning map together constitute the zoning ordinance and, therefore, shall at all times be considered as interrelated and inseparable parts of a whole. The general purpose of the zoning ordinance is to promote and protect public health, safety, aesthetics, and other aspects of the general welfare; to implement the Town of Lincoln comprehensive land use plan; and to meet the requirements of Wis.
