Nevada Homeschool Organizations & Networks

The Nevada Department of Education provides a list of online resources regarding homeschooling in the state of Nevada. These websites are not affiliated with nor maintained by the Nevada Department of Education or Washoe County School District.

Nevada Homeschool Network:

Nevada Homeschool Network (NHN) strives to advocate for homeschool freedom and the right of each family to direct the education their own children as they see best. It is our intent to respond to the wishes, concerns and interests of the homeschooling community, and to report on legislative, legal and other matters relevant to homeschooling and family education.

Northern Nevada Homeschooling:

Northern Nevada Home Schools, Inc. is a 501(c)3, nonprofit organization dedicated to the support and encouragement of home educators in Northern Nevada.

Home Educators of Faith:

Founded in 2003, Home Educators of Faith serve to provide a Christian-led support group for youth in Nevada by offering youth clubs and programs to homeschooled, charter-schooled, private-schooled, and public-schooled students alike.

(There are hundreds of accredited programs. This is just a sample provided by the Nevada Department of Education. In order to reenter public schooling at the secondary level, you must use an accredited curriculum.)
