DOWNLOADABLE ASSEMBLY CONTENT FOR USE IN LOCAL PROGRAMMINGFrom the Assembly Team:All the different documents offered in the Community Gatherings block represent the five Worships and Plenaries offered over the course of the weekend, each focusing us on a different theme around what it means to be Bold. We are including here segments which we believe can be easily replicated at your Worship services, Annual Meetings and any other gathering at home. We’ve also included piece that might offer you inspiration or that you can piece out to add to your own spiritual growth programming.This text is accompanied by PowerPoints and pre-produced videos which you have full rights to use as well. The PowerPoints and videos can be downloaded from the Assembly Resources page. Look for the all-caps print saying “REFER TO POWERPOINTS” or “REFER TO VIDEO” at these moments in the scripts.We have also added a Songbook Resource List to go with the Scripture and Songbook Companion for Assembly. This Songbook list enables you to purchase books that will have the full accompaniment for each song. This makes sure that all lyricists and composers of these songs get paid their own “living wage” for their incredible work of serving the church through congregational singing.Our scriptural reflection for this Assembly was the Journey of Mary, mother of Jesus. We have included videos of the special performing arts segments welcoming talented female writers, actresses and tap dancers who brought life to our understanding of Mary in a very contemporary and inspirational way. Sometimes these segments have introductions and sometimes not. We offer you the choice on the Video Download page, of using them all together or separately.Notes: Please see notes in red for explanations on how you should use certain segments. Different cultures and traditions of the wonderful United Methodist Women in our midst need special care to be honored in an authentic way.We encourage each member to bring an Assembly Report including the Highlights Video to your local church, ending with the invitation to join us in Orlando, Florida in 2022. ................
