?September 21, 2020Dear Parents of a 5th Grade Spanish Student,Each year, Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. Your child has been assigned a project for my class in which he/she needs to research one Hispanic person who has made a noticeable contribution to our society. It would be great if students choose to share about the accomplishments of their own family members. Students must do a Power Point of 2-5 slides in English, Spanish or both languages. Students should be prepared to share the information in class orally, which will be graded. Projects should include all the following information:Full name of the personPhotograph of the personDate of birthPlace of birth and place of birth of ancestors (if applicable)Place where the person grew up and/or lived/livesContribution(s) to society Any other interesting fact(s) about that person Why student chose that person The due date for Ms. Acosta’s class is Monday October 5th.
