Part One: List four common stereotypes that you hear about men and women and explain why that stereotype is unfair or inaccurate. One male and one female example are provided.

Part Two: Television, movies, books and video games are full of gender stereotypes. For example, how many times have you seen a TV mom depicted as a perfect housewife? Or what about a male character playing the main role in an aggressive/violent show? In the table below, provide 4 male stereotypes and 4 female stereotypes that you have seen in sources like television, in movies, in books, or in video games. For each one, describe the stereotype, the source, and the character you’re talking about. Remember to put characters that FIT the stereotype. One male and one female example are provided.
