Receptive - Use three pictures. Use three varied pictures, using common objects, such as boys, girls, animals, etc. At least one of the pictures should be a correlating foil. You can use people in the room, if there is a correlating foil for your request.

Identification

Say “Show me…” For example, Subject Pronouns: “He is sitting,” “I am sitting.” etc. Possessive Pronouns: “his shoes,” “your shoes,” etc.

Expressive – Use pictures and/or objects, such as with identification.

Label – Ask question requiring one word or short phrase. For example,

“Who is sitting?” or “Whose shoes are those?”

Use - Say, “Use the word in a sentence.

Artemis will identify objects and pictures when given personal and possessive pronouns, for example, “He is smiling,” or “Where is your shirt?”

Artemis will identify objects and pictures when given reflexive, demonstrative, and/or indefinite pronouns, for example, “Pat fed himself,” or “Point to that cat.”

Persephone will label personal and possessive pronouns in response to questions, for example, “Whose shoes are those?” or “Who is wearing that shirt?”

Persephone will label reflexive, relative, and/or indefinite pronouns in response to questions, for example, “Who was he talking to?” (himself), and “Which bug is walking?” (that one).

Hercules will use personal pronouns in sentences, for example, “They are eating.”

Hercules will use possessive pronouns in sentences, for example, Their books are new.”

Hercules will use reflexive, demonstrative, and/or indefinite pronouns in sentences, for example, “Do you have any money left?”

Create a list of pronouns at student’s level. Send home with instructions to use each pronoun in a sentence in exchange for individualized incentive. Require parent signature for parental involvement opportunity.

Hidden Word Picture, Sentence Drop, Sentence Bulls Eye - Send with student for homework or complete with therapist for extra practice. Require parent signature to provide opportunity for parental involvement. Refer to page _____ for answers.
