ANR ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

The Agriculture and Natural Resources Alumni Association (ANRAA) Student Scholarship Awards program offers a one-time monetary award to Ag Tech freshmen, juniors, and graduate students enrolled fulltime in a CANR program.

Three $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to Agriculture Technology freshmen for use during their sophomore year at Michigan State University.

Eight $3,000 scholarships will be awarded to CANR juniors for use during their senior year at Michigan State University.

Two $3,000 scholarships will be awarded to CANR graduate students for use during the 2013/2014 academic year at Michigan State University.

THESE AWARDS ARE INTENDED TO:

• Encourage continuation in a College of Agriculture and Natural Resources program at MSU

• Promote the ANRAA to prospective future members

• Reward students that meet the criteria of the ANRAA Student Scholarship Program

SELECTION CRITERIA:

The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources Alumni Association is looking for those students who:

• Have demonstrated a commitment to their chosen field

• Show strong indications of future success

• Are well-rounded in their academic and non-academic pursuits

• Have a vision or plan for their future careers

• Will continue to be ambassadors for MSU and CANR long after graduation

Scholarship Application

To apply you must be classified as an Ag Tech freshman, junior, or graduate student (at any time during this academic year) in a CANR program. Scholarships will be awarded for the 2013/2014 academic year. To be considered for these scholarships submit this application form, the answer to the essay question, your resume and two letters of references from two professors/instructors and/or employers. References should be submitted in a sealed envelope with the referent’s signature across the seal. Letters should be received no later than November 21, 2012 at:
