Choose one of the following objects from the list below and write words or phrases that might be said from the viewpoint of the item you chose. * It can NOT be living!

• a fork in a dishwasher

• a chair in a furniture store

• a credit card in a wallet

• a letter in the mailbox

• a burger in a kid’s meal

• a can in a six pack of drinks

• a golf ball in a golf bag

• a shirt packed in a suitcase

You will then take your words and phrases and create a poem describing the day in a life of your item. Poem should be a minimum of 10 lines. Poem should have some rhyming lines. See student example on back. (or on website)
