Background: Any good chemistry student has a general knowledge of the periodic table and many of the elements. In this activity, you will explore and navigate the world’s best interactive periodic table, . This webpage will be a valuable tool for you all year. Use this tool to answer the following questions.

1. Who is the author of this site? What does he do?

2. Click on the Element # 59, Pr – Turn the speakers on for your computer and click the blue or pink speaker icon, [pic]. This link is used to give you the proper pronunciation of the element. Once you have learned the proper pronunciation for Praseodymium, select two more challenging elements and practice saying them correctly. I suggest Uuh or something weird like that. Write the names of the elements practiced in the space below.

3. Now, once you know how to say the names correctly, it is important to know general information about various elements. Let’s take a look at the general information.
