Assignments: 3 oral presentations each of a different kind (10-minutes each): [1 on topic (“ism”) for week, 1 summary of argument in one of week’s readings, and 1 close reading of one of week’s readings]; 6 papers (5-pages) [on a text for previous week – 3 argument summaries, 3 close readings]

Grades: each paper and each presentation is worth 1/9 of semester grade.
