• Love INC Summer Session Loving Help Classes - in Sheldon and Primghar. Classes available to anyone living in O’Brien County. Summer session runs July 12 - Sept. 20. Classes are free; and will be Thurs. nights, 6:30-7:30. Free childcare provided. Classes offered in Sheldon: Making Parenting a Pleasure (new curriculum), Embracing Life, Faith and Finances, and Bible Study. Primghar is offering 3 different mini-sessions. Session 1 July 12, 19, 26 - Kitchen Variety. Session 2 Aug. 2, 9, 23, Health & Fitness. Session 3 Aug. 30, Sept. 6, 13, Vehicle Maintenance. Feel free to take one or all 3 classes! • Cornerstone Prison Church Faith Fellowship Weekend – July 13-15. Theme - Discipleship and we will be looking to focus on Philip’s actions in Acts 8:26-40. We would love to have you join us by attending all or part of the weekend. Please e-mail Jean Dyk at office@.

• Okoboji Bible Conference – Aug. 4-12

• Christian Retirement Home Ice Cream Social – Tues., July 10, 7 p.m. by the main entrance. In the case of rain, it will be moved to the lower level Social Room. Please bring your lawn chairs. A free will donation will be taken. Entertainment by Bruce Dysthe from Beaver Creek MN. Following the concert, please join us for a time of fellowship with ice cream, homemade bars, coffee, and punch.

• The Village Treasure Chest is in need of volunteers! If you are looking for something fun & fulfilling to do in your spare time, the Village Treasure Chest has many volunteer opportunities available for everyone. This morning, we thank God for providing for His church again, as we install new Elders and Deacons. Darin Granstra & Chad Petitt will be installed as Elders and Chad Fykstra & Keith Habben will be installed as Deacons. We thank

Norm Scholten & Tom Van Dyke for their service to the church as Elders and Brennan Granstra & Kyle Heynen for their service to the church as Deacons.

Covenant Life will host the coffee fellowship after the morning service. Join us for refreshments in the fellowship hall.

Next week, the Young People will host the coffee fellowship.

Please pray for the members of our church who will be serving at LaGrave Avenue CRC in Grand Rapids, MI June 23-30. Jevon Klyn & Amanda Klyn will be the leaders accompanying our young people including: Cole Christians,

Jacob Christians, Olivia Granstra, Bryant Hoekstra,

Morgan Hoekstra and Trenton Hoekstra. You can follow the activities/progress of the SERVE site by “liking” their facebook page – lagraveserve or following them on Instagram @legrave.serve.

While in Michigan, this group will be working with agencies that serve the homeless, work at food banks, doing light yard and construction work, assisting at daycares, carrying out random acts of kindness, and sharing Christ’s love with the community.

Volunteer Opportunity - There is a sign-up sheet on the welcome desk for any volunteers that wish to go to Friendship Church in Sergeant Bluff. Their service is at 10:25 a.m., approx. 70 min. from Sheldon. Dates available to help: July 22 or Aug. 26. They need help with their Nursery and Children’s Church. This is a great opportunity for anyone that wishes to see and better understand how a church plant works and how it can better strengthen the community.

SCS Summer Scrip – Deadline - 9 a.m. on Mon. of order week. All order forms can be dropped off at SCS anytime and placed in the SCRIP box by the office.
