Documentation of Loan Default Resolution

The National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) indicates that you are in DEFAULT on one or more federal student loans. Until you clear up the default, you are not eligible to receive financial aid.

If you pay off the loan and make satisfactory arrangements to clear the default, please provide documentation of the default clearance from the holder of the loan. The documentation may include a letter from your loan servicer or collection agency indicating you are eligible for Title IV funds.
