The MyFRS Financial Guidance Program: Get Educated and Win a Prize!

Florida Retirement System members around the state are learning and winning at the same time!

During your Retirement Plan Choice Period, you have the opportunity to win valuable prizes by taking advantage of the education resources and making an active choice.

What can you win during your Choice Period?

• $500 Visa® Gift Cards and MyFRS Financial Guidance Program Polo Shirts by using your PIN to log into the retirement plan Choice Service on ,

• A laptop computer by attending a retirement plan choice workshop, OR

• A big-screen TV by making an active retirement plan election!

As a reminder, the Choice Period for Group 1 members (state employees) closed at the beginning of September. Group 2 members (school district employees) are currently in the middle of their Choice Period, which closes November 30, 2002. The Choice Period for Group 3 members (county and other employees) runs from December 1, 2002 through February 28, 2003.

Why the prizes? It’s our way of encouraging you to attend a workshop, use the Choice Service and make an active retirement choice even if you think you’ve already made up your mind. We felt it was so important that you understand your choices and plan ahead for your future, that we added these prizes just to get your attention. We certainly hope you win a prize, but even more, we hope you take advantage of this opportunity to get the financial guidance you need.

Remember, even if you decide to stay where you are, going through the Choice Service to make an active election is the best way to really understand how your retirement plan works and what you’ll need to do to plan for a secure future.
