Dearly beloved, we ar gathered here today to join this man ...

Today you are surrounded by your family and friends, all whom are gathered here to witness your marriage and to share in the joy of this occasion which can be one of the most memorable and happy days of your lives. By a mutual commitment to love each other, to work toward creating an atmosphere of care and consideration and respect by a willingness to face the tensions and anxieties that underlie human life, you can make your wedded live come alive.

Groom do you take Bride to be your lawful wedded wife, to live together in matrimony to love, honor, comfort her and keep her in sickness and in health, and forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live? (“I do”)

Bride do you take Groom to be your lawful wedded husband, to live together in matrimony to love, honor, comfort him and keep him in sickness and in health, and forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live? (“I do”)

Groom please repeat after me: I Groom take you Bride to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish till death do us part.

Bride please repeat after me: I Bride, take you Groom to be my husband, to have, and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish till death do us part.

Officiant: Bride and Groom have chosen as a couple to perform a Love Letter & Wine Box ceremony.

This box contains a bottle of wine, two glasses, and a love letter from each to the other. The letters describe the good qualities they find in one another, the reasons they fell in love, and their reasons for choosing to marry. The letters are sealed in individual envelopes and they have not seen what the other has written. You have created your very own "romantic" time capsule to be opened on your 5th wedding anniversary.

I recommend that you keep the box in a place of honor prominently displayed in your home as a constant reminder of your commitment to each other.

Officiant: Bride and Groom should you ever find your marriage enduring insurmountable hardships, you are to as a couple, open this box, sit and drink the wine together, then separate and read the letters you wrote to one another when you were united as a couple in marriage. By reading these love letters you will reflect upon the reasons you fell in love and chose to marry each other here today.

The hope is, however, that you will never have a reason to open this box. And if this is the case, you are to open this box to share and enjoy on your 5th year wedding anniversary!

Officiant: Bride and Groom you may now seal the box.

Ring exchange. May I please have the rings?

Groom please place ring on Bride’s finger and repeat after me. I give you this Bride ring as a token and pledge of our constant faith and abiding love.

Bride please repeat after me as you place ring on Groom’s finger and repeat after me. I give you this ring Groom as a token and pledge of our constant faith and abiding love.

In as much as Bride and Groom have this day consented to be joined in wedlock and have given and pledged their troth to each other in the presence of this company, by virtue of the authority vested me under the laws of the State of Florida, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Groom you may now kiss your bride
