Hello Everybody!! Here is another silly picture with Mrs. Kinsey! I miss each of you! Please have fun with the activities below. Oh! And give yourself a hug from me!!

(FSF) Our goal is to say the first sounds in words.

Find Mrs. Kinsey's in the tree. Pick 5 other things you see. Say the first sound in each word. Example: glasses ? "g". Make the sound!

(LNF) Our goal is to name letters. Look at me on a branch. Look at the word branch. Copy the word branch. Say all the letters in the word branch. Now rewrite it using all uppercase letters. It should look like

(PSF) Our goal is to say all the sounds in words. Say all the sounds in tree, blue, barn, grass and hair.

(NWF) Our goal is to read make believe words. Read these make believe words or say all the sounds. Baf tup gik pim zoj Hug yourself! You are a super kid!

** Bonus** Mrs. Kinsey's in a tree. She's as happy as can be. Say three more words that rhyme with tree and be.

The third group marked PSF, phonemic segmentation fluency is saying all the sounds in words. The last group is NWF or nonsense word fluency, blending letters to make real or make believe words.
