Rotary Club of London
Dear (New Member):
RE: Request for Your Profile as a New Member of Rotary
Welcome to the Rotary Club of London! The Public Relations Committee is delighted to have you aboard and hopes that your future with Rotary is full of exciting new friends and experiences.
Knowing that club members are looking forward to getting to know you, we would like to profile you in the upcoming issue of our monthly newsletter, Rotary Ripples. If you are interested – and we sincerely hope that you are – we ask that you please respond to this request no later that the third Wednesday of the next most feasible month (i.e. the month that gives you enough time to complete the request.)
To create and submit your profile, please choose one of the following two options:
1. Complete page 2 in hard copy and hand in at the registration table at a weekly meeting. Please mark to the attention of Jack Beedle, Rotary Ripples Editor
2. Download this package from and complete page 2 electronically. Email to Jack Beedle, Rotary Ripples Editor, at jbeedle@
In addition, please email Jack a photo of yourself, preferably portrait-style and in jpg, gif or bmp format (note that most new, regular/non-professional digital cameras automatically produce jpg format). If you do not have a suitable photo, our Club historian Jim Swan would be happy to take one at an upcoming meeting.
Lastly, we ask that you consider giving consent to have your profile featured on our website. If this is something that you are comfortable with, please indicate your approval on page 2.
Thank you very much for your attention to this matter. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Janet Tufts, PR Chairperson, at 519-488-2003 or jtufts@.
Once again, welcome to the Rotary Club of London. We look forward to meeting you!
Sincerely,
The Public Relations Committee
