FAMILY LAW DIVISION ANNOUNCES CHANGES TO JUDICIAL ASSIGNMENTS

The Central Family Law Division at the Los Angeles Superior Court will implement the following changes to courtroom operations at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse, 111 N. Hill St., Los Angeles, 90012:

? Effective March 1, 2018, Department 60, an individual calendar courtroom, will be converted to a long-cause trial courtroom, Judge Shelley L. Kaufman presiding. Cases with future hearing dates have been randomly reassigned to Departments to 2D and 65. All future case filings will be assigned at random.

? Effective March 5, 2018, Judge Gregory J. Weingart is assigned to Department 65. Judge David A. Rosen is reassigned to the Chatsworth Courthouse, Department F50.

Counsel and parties are instructed to identify the assigned judicial officer and department on the first page of all documents filed with the clerk, beneath the case number, to ensure proper departmental assignment, calendaring of hearings, and the distribution of documents.
