The Los Angeles Superior Court's Mandatory Settlement Conference (MSC) program is staffed by experienced sitting civil judges who devote their time exclusively to presiding over MSCs.

This program is available in general jurisdiction for independent calendar (IC) and complex cases. In order to access the Judicial MSC Program, the IC or Complex Judge must order the parties to a settlement conference.
