? Lotto Max jackpots will grow up to $70 million (instead of $60 million).

? Sales start Saturday, May 11, 2019, with the rst draw on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 and the second draw on Friday, May 17, 2019.

? No change to the cost of play.

? One number will be added to the game's range. Seven numbers will be drawn from a range of 1 to 50, instead of the current 1 to 49.

? Two new lower-tier prize categories will be added 5/7+Bonus and 4/7+Bonus. This increases the number of prize categories from seven to nine.

? Maxmillions will still be added when the main jackpot reaches $50 million.

? Combination Play on Lotto Max will no longer be available.

? Players are still able to purchase their tickets up to 10 draws in advance. Note: Leading up to the game changes, advance play will be adjusted to only include the number of draws remaining between the time of purchase and the launch of the changes.

? Odds of winning the main jackpot: 1 in 33,294,800 per $5 play.

NEW DRAW PROCESS FOR LOTTO MAX & LOTTO 6/49

Effective May 2019, draws for Lotto Max and Lotto 6/49 will occur using Random Number Generator (RNG) software.

Many of your favourite national lottery games already use RNG software, including Daily GRAND, the Guaranteed Prize Draw feature of Lotto 6/49 and the Maxmillions feature of Lotto Max.

On May 14, 2019, RNG software will determine the winning numbers for the Lotto Max main draw, in addition to the Maxmillions draws. Lotto 6/49 winning numbers on May 15, 2019 will be generated by RNG software.
